What is Art Clay Silver? - Wednesday, August 31, 2011

Silver clay is a marvelous thing which is relatively now to the area of jewelry.

It’s simple to use and because of that it gives huge possibilities for making beautiful jewelry and different kind of objects. It is consisted of the tiniest particles, pure silver mixed with nontoxic organic filaments, which bonds the silver particles forming a mass, which can be manipulated like clay.

You can, cut it, grave it into molds, place natural and synthetic stones, glass, polymer, email, epoxy resin, gold and silver foil, copper, bronze and pretty much everything that you can do with regular clay.

In a phase when the clay is dried, it is given a fine decoration and shape, and we move to the process of baking. The final product is 99.9% pure silver.
